Step1: Upload photos
a) Go to "Upload photos".
b) Name you photo gallery and upload as many photos you wish. You may upload individual photos or folders of photos directly from your computer or from your Picasa or Flickr accounts. Photos are safely stored online and can be at separate Photo Galleries to be easily used for any photo products at any time.
Step 2: Create Photo products
a) When uploading is completed; press the button " Create ".
b) Select one of the photo products
c) Give a name to your project and press the button next to enter the red-fly photo products application. (Remember if you already uploaded your photos you can skip the upload process by checking the skip box).
Step 3: Enter the application
1) If you are making a photobook
a) Choose the type and size of your photobook and press the "next" button.
b) Select the photos you wish to place in your photobook (Note: a minimum number of photos are required based on the type and size of cover. The number is indicated in the horizontal bar) Once done, click the “accept” button.
d) Select a theme according to your subject and press the "next step" button.
e) For advance desing, use the "customize my photobook" button, select from different layout options, colours, cliparts etc. to customize your photobook.
f) Preview shows how your photobook will be once it is printed.
2) If you are making a Calendar
a) Choose the type and size of your calendar and click “next”.
b) Select a theme and the month from which you would like your calendar to start. When ready to proceed, click the "next step" button.
c) Place your photos in your Calendar. Remember, for advance design, use the "customize " button, select from different layout options, colours, cliparts etc. to customize your calendar.
d) Preview shows how your calendar will be once it is printed.
3) If you are making a card
a) Choose the type and size of your card and click the “next” button.
b) Select a theme. When you are ready, clickthe "next step" button.
c) Place your photos in your card by drag and drop. Use the "customize " button to select from different layout options, colours, cliparts etc. and customize your card.
d) Preview shows how your card will be once it is printed.
Step4: Order
Place your order and enjoy your photobooks , Calendars or Greeting cards in few days!
You first have to register for free. After you have done so, you may choose to use photos from your flickr or picasa accounts or upload photos from your computer to your personal online galleries and then use them to create photobooks, calendars or greeting cards.
When you enter the application you will be asked to select type and size of the photo product you require.
To start creating your photobook the minimum number of photos required is 52.
There is a minimum number 18 pages and maximum number 440 pages for standard paper and 300 pages for premium paper, available in the red-fly photobook application. You can add or delete pages within that range.
To insert a page, simply click the button with the symbol “plus (+)” in the bottom of the right corner of your photobook and a page will automatically be inserted.To remove a page, click the button “minus ( - )” in the bottom of the right corner of your photobook. This will remove the RIGHT page of your photobook. Note: A single sheet has two pages. You cannot add/remove a single page.
You may place as many as you wish.
The application has the option to save your project at any time. Press the button “save” and automatically a saved copy of your photo product with its latest changes will be placed in the “saved projects” section.
When you click the button “customize”, you get more editing options to completely customize your product. You can resize, rotate, zoom, set as background any of your photos. Also you can select different backgrounds for each page, cliparts, borders, add more photos, add text and many more.
First you have to click the button “Customize”. To remove a photo or text box from a page, select it and click Delete. To add a photo, select the page where you want the photo to be. Then select the “icon” ‘My photo galleries’ from the toolbar. On the page where you want the picture, click and drag your photo with the mouse into it. You can adjust the size, shape and position of your new photo by selecting the photo and clicking accordingly.
When in the “Customize” option, click the “Backgrounds” tab. Then select the desired background, and with your mouse drag-and-drop it onto it.
First you have to press the button “Customize”. Select the photo you want to use as a background and click the option “set as background”.
First you have to click the button “Customize”. Go to the “Borders” tab, select a border and with your mouse drag-and-drop it on your selected picture.
Yes. You may add text with different fonts, sizes and colours. Simply go to the “text” tab. Drag and drop the text selection wherever you wish to place your text and edit it accordingly.
